Sandwiches

The New Yorker. This is one spicy roast-beef sandwich. It was Kobe roast-beef so I felt cool eating it. Overall it was a tastey just could have done without the burning sensation of spice. Oh and the yellow stuff is dijon mustard.

Avocado Turkey Sandwich. Not hesitant to say that is my favorite sandwich. The sun-dried tomato and mayonnaise combo is really good. Avocado always seems to fulfill cravings so it is a perfect addition to a sandwich.

Mango Tree

Just had a cup of orange mango juice and it definitely quenched my thirst. This juice would make for a good tasting popsicle. Oh, I also wanted to share that my neighbor recently sent over a vanilla cake. I had some with a cup of coffee today and it was so good! It has blue and red sprinkles throughout the cake.

Futuristic ice cream, dots, six flags, universal studios. All those words can be used to describe ittibitz ice cream. This was something you could only enjoy at theme parks, but now you don’t need to hop onto a plane or go for a two hour drive to get this not so conventional ice cream. Unless you live two hours away from a supermarket or if your supermarket doesn’t carry ittibitz. If that is the case, I’m sorry. This has officially been added to my amazing finds list.

I’m watching Asian Xgames highlights and they just used miso soup as a comparison. Hmm, all they need to mention now is tofu and we have Japanese takeout.

Best midnight snack? Maybe. Annoying voice? Yes. Most people don’t seems to be fans of cranraisins. It might be because raisin fans are threatened by a similar sized sun-dried snack. Cranraisin fans press 1, those who aren’t fans press 2.

Hockey and Chocolate

The other day I made frosted brownie cupcakes. It makes brownies more appealing to eat when they’re in a bite sized shape. The brownies were frosted with Betty Crocker Hershey’s frosting and covered with confetti, flower, and butterfly sprinkles. While I was frosting the brownie cupcakes I was watching a hockey game. It was the New York Rangers against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The last fifteen seconds was a intense, the Rangers were going crazy trying to tie the game. They ended up scoring with eight seconds remaining. The game went over time and there was also a shoot out, which made the Rangers the winners!! Oh also, I have a burn mark on my arm now since I hit the tray the brownies were in when I was taking them out. Who knew baking could be so dangerous.

That day I went to Norfolk it’s only an hour and a half drive away, it has a nice tranquil vibe. By the time we got there we were hungry. My parents wanted to go to an Irish restaurant but I brought my dog, Tramp, along so we couldn’t just leave him in the car. Luckily there was a pizzeria near by so my brother and I had pizza. Interesting fact: this pizza place is open seven days a week and is open until 1 am. My mom came back with a chocolate cake with raspberry sauce, which I was not anticipating but my stomach was happy to be filled with sugar and even more sugar that the raspberry sauce had a lot of. I’m going back Sunday and there will probably be more food involved, yay.

My all time favorite, Philly cheese steak! It had mayo, lettuce, tomato, and green peppers. I was stuffed after all that so my brother and I had a one on one basketball game, which let’s just say was a sad sight. Since he was ahead by three points I decided to start pushing him and it helped a lot. It maybe mean but he didn’t get hurt so it’s okay. It was a pretty funny game since he didn’t even have to jump to block my shots. We were going to stop at 10 but it was too hot so we went for a swim. The water was surprisingly cold but still better than the heat.
